Tridem Pharma Opens its First African Subsidiary to Layout its Sales Network in East Africa and Penetrate African Healthcare Market
In 2019, Fosun Pharma integrated the African businesses of its subsidiary Guilin Pharma and Tridem Pharma to commence through the new Tridem Pharma to provide one-stop third-party services for pharmaceutical and healthcare groups to access the Africa market, which include drug registration, imported medicine distribution, pharmaceutical marketing and drug safety warnings.
The newly integrated platform includes a business team of over 800 local people in Africa, a sales network covering 35 African countries and regions, and 6 subsidiaries in Nigeria in Western Africa, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Senegal and Tanzania in East Africa. The recently established Tridem Kenya is Fosun Pharma’s second subsidiary in Eastern Africa after its first one in Tanzania.
In the future, Tridem Kenya will implement Fosun Pharma’s development concepts for its African business and build itself to be a leading business player for pharmaceutical and healthcare products in Kenya. The new Tridem Pharma will also further consolidate its business network in Africa and actively expand its upstream and downstream clienteles while extending its business to Northern Africa and the Middle East to become one of the most trustworthy partners in the region for sales and marketing of pharmaceuticals and healthcare products from the world over.
